Brian Hamman was born and raised in Lee County. A graduate of Cape Coral High School, he earned an associate’s degree from Edison State College and a bachelor’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Brian spent 10 years in the TV news business working his way up from the “camera guy” to a news anchor on the nightly news. In addition, Brian has worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones and as the Market Development Manager for CenturyLink.
Brian has spent years working and living in our community, listening to people and understanding firsthand what it takes to make Lee County a great place to live, work and raise a family. Brian’s priorities are to bring jobs to our community, keep taxes low and protect the beautiful environment that draws so many to Lee County.
Brian is active in the community, serving on various nonprofit boards including United Way, YMCA Fort Myers, Champions for Learning in Collier County and the Executive Committee of Cape Coral’s Council for Progress. Brian, his wife Rebecca and their daughter Kaitlyn, reside in Cape Coral and are members of Crosspoint Christian Church.
